How is Thai massage done and why it is good for health
Thai massage is one of the most popular services in massage parlors, although it has a rather specific technique. Very often, Thai massage is also called “yoga massage” because it contains elements that in many places are similar to the Indian practice of yoga.
But if you look in more detail, then Thai massage is a holistic system, the methods of action of which are aimed not so much at the human muscles as at the energy zones, using the whole body from the crown to the heels. This is not an ordinary classical massage, but a wholly spiritual and physical practice, after which you feel a lightness and a surge of energy.
Thai massage technique
Traditional Thai massage is done in clothes and without the use of cosmetic oils. During the Thai massage, the master acts on the body with the help of pressure, not only with the hands but also with the elbows, knees and even the feet. Thai massage is an active type of massage, during which you do not just lie in one place, but change positions resembling yoga asanas so that your body can completely relax, stretch and restore the energy flow.
What is Thai massage good for?
Many diseases that accompany us throughout life arise precisely because we do not know how to maintain our body in harmony with the outside world. Against this background, we have various blocks and clamps that subsequently lead to both small and serious diseases. Thai massage helps you “hear” your body and restore harmony in it. First of all, it promotes deep relaxation of the body, helps relieve stress, increases joint flexibility and improves blood circulation.
In some cases, Thai massage completely replaces even physical activity, allowing you to maintain the body in good shape.
